According to a recent survey conducted on fraud, it was reported that more than 60% of the fraud has been perpetrated due to lack of segregation of duties/ conflict in performing the duties. One of the primary controls to check fraud is to ensure that conflicting duties are segregated, no one person performs duties end to end in the value chain. Easier said than done, this gets more complex as organizations grow from one location to multi location, multi products, multi regions, etc
